In my opinion, deepfake videos should be owtlawed 100%, and even the use, download, storage of apps that create deepfake made illegal.
It's easy to understand why. In a short period of time, it will be impossible to discern what the original 'real' persona did and what the AI did. Imagine a video interview to check bank credentials for accessing your account, made by someone else but you with your 'video persona' on.

Otherwise, a lot of weird stuff will emerge but yeah, we are flesh&blood&conscience beings. At some point, you need the human touch, not just mental interaction.
