Joseph, I thought about that as well 🤔 more writers than readers.
I'm back on Medium after a 2 year pause, I am not actively promoting it, and about half af my new followers are people that have no content published.. so they aren't also writers.
However, something is happening. I haven't been on a spring/summer on Medium, but I look at myself: s it's warmer and days are longer, we stay outdoors and seek more offline connection, and less screen time (incl writing time/reading time)
