Thousands and thousands will happily churn content with AI without having real ethical/moral considerations. For so many, it's easy money. Will law catch up with AI advancements and use of it? Perhaps it will (although I think it'll be perpetually one step behind).
Those most affected are original researchers and true CREATORS (not mere rephrasers). Maybe 🤔 blockchain/anything related might help solve copyright tracking? Maybe if every new original content creation will be published as an NFT, then you can better track plagiarism? Or at least, receive a share of its further copying/regurgitation?
